How to build the best skincare routine in 5 easy steps

Step One: Take your SUPs

Upon rising, take one tablet with water.

Step Two: Hydrate 

Okay, so technically this forms part of step one., but who doesn’t love a good ‘two birds, one stone’ hack?

Step Three: Cleanse, Exfoliate & Tone 

After you’ve looked after your skin from within, it’s time to focus on the outside.

Cleanse your skin with a gentle, soap free cleanser. Look for natural products which contain no sulfates and parabens as these can strip the skin of essential oils, leaving it dry and prone to irritation.

Exfoliate once or twice a week to remove dead skin, deep clean your pores and boost the healthy glow you’ll notice with this 5 step routine. If you don’t have an exfoliating scrub, use your regular cleanser with an exfoliating pad.

After you’ve cleansed, use a gentle toner to restore your skin’s pH levels and prepare it for makeup.  

Step Four: Moisturise 

Smooth and hydrate your skin from the outside with a light, all natural moisturiser. Look for one which is low on fragrance and preservatives. Consider moisturisers which are enriched with skin loving minerals such as magnesium and zinc.

Step Five: Protect  

Regardless of whether you’ll spend your day inside or not, applying an SPF is an absolute necessity for maintaining and protecting your skin’s health.

Sun is incredibly damaging to the skin’s cells, and your risk of premature aging, skin cancer and skin irritation is compounded even when your exposure is minimal and incidental (think: your daily commute or lunchtime stroll).1

We recommend choosing a foundation, BB Cream, or sunscreen which has a SPF rating of at least 50+ for optimal protection. Use this as the base for your makeup, or to provide light coverage for an all-natural glow.
